Thursday, June 7, 2012 - Kindergarten Promotion/Opera at 10:30 a.m. in the gym - parents invited - All Kindergartners attend 8:30-Noon. 

Friday, June 8, 2012 - Last Day of School - All Students attend 8:30-Noon.  5th grade Promotion at 11:00 a.m. in gym.

Tuesday, August 28, 2012 - First Day of School - All students attend 8:30-Noon.

5th Grader - Moms and Dads -  The end of year is coming fast.  We need your help to make the graduation a fun and memorable event.  Please click on this link to sign up to Volunteer, bring food for BBQ & Graduation, Car pool, order the T-shirt and make sure all of your sign ups and Permission slips are done.  

2012 New Student Enrollment, including kindergarten students, continues.  The new student registration will be on a first come - first served basis. No guarantee of attendance in the student's neighborhood school exists. Placement of the student is subject to capacity at each school.  Schools will have an established number of K-5 students each can accommodate based on capacity. If a school reaches capacity in any grade level, the 'unhoused' students will be accommodated at the District's overflow school.

Transitional Kindergarten 2012-2013 Update
We are pleased to announce the opening of our Transitional Kindergarten program for the 2012-2013 at Washington Elementary School. At this time, only students whose fifth birthday is from November 2 to December 2 are eligible for the program. Parents that have already enrolled their children will be contacted by the District. There will be an informational meeting for families in the program at Washington Elementary School on Monday, May 21 at 7:00. If your child’s fifth birthday falls between November 2 and December 2 and you have not yet enrolled your child for TK, please complete the process at your home school.
